New nursing curricula will be introduced in four colleges of Kyrgyzstan. It was announced at the meeting of the Head of the Ministry of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation Olivier Bangerter. The press service of the ministry reported.
The sides discussed cooperation in the sphere of reforms of medical education in the Kyrgyz Republic. Representatives of the embassy told about the final phase of the project «Reforms of medical education in Kyrgyzstan», which is implemented with their support.
In particular, it was noted that new curricula for nursing education have been developed within the project together with the ministry, which will be introduced in four pilot colleges in the new academic year. «In this regard, it is necessary to consider the possibility of spreading the curricula to other medical professional educational organizations in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as monitoring and evaluating the results of the project,» the Ministry of Education noted.
