He thanked Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov for his personal attention to the development of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. The head of state expressed readiness to maintain constructive contacts with Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov as a Chairman of the Upper House of Parliament.
The parties exchanged views on topical issues on the regional agenda.
Sadyr Japarov congratulated Serdar Berdymukhamedov on his unconditional victory in the presidential elections and wished him great success in the highest state post.
The parties discussed the Kyrgyz-Turkmen bilateral cooperation. Sadyr Japarov invited the elected president of Turkmenistan to visit Kyrgyzstan to participate in the fourth consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia, which is scheduled for July 21, 2022 on the shores of Issyk-Kul lake.
