The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov accepted credentials from the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of a number of foreign states accredited in the country. Press service of the head of state reported.
Credentials were presented by the ambassadors of 21 states. The President congratulated the ambassadors on the official start of their diplomatic activities in Kyrgyzstan and wished them great success in their responsible service. He expressed confidence that their professional activities would bring positive results in strengthening and developing interstate relations and cooperation. The President assured that the heads of diplomatic missions can count on the support and benevolent attitude of state bodies and the Kyrgyz people.
Sadyr Japarov stressed that the foreign policy of Kyrgyzstan remains consistent, predictable, pragmatic and aimed at promoting national interests in international cooperation within the framework of bilateral and multilateral diplomacy. He assured that work with foreign states would continue in accordance with the generally recognized principles of interstate relations and international law, enshrined in the UN Charter, and with full regard for existing mutual obligations in bilateral and multilateral formats.
«We are determined to continue the general line with all countries to intensify political and diplomatic contacts, develop trade and investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. I hope that with the active participation of the ambassadors, interstate relations will be filled with new content, mutually beneficial projects, useful initiatives and, in general, develop dynamically for the benefit of the peoples of the countries, in the interests of international security and stability,» Sadyr Japarov said.
