The Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan detained the former head of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use Zhyrgalbek Sagynbaev. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
It is known that Eldiyar Mukanov, head of the Department of Legal Support, was detained together with Sagynbaev.
«According to preliminary data, both are charged with illegal issuance of bonuses to employees of the state committee. Damage to the state amounted to more than 5 million soms. The day before, the Prosecutor General’s Office summoned the both men for questioning and detained them. Zhyrgalbek Sagynbaev and Eldiyar Mukanov were placed in the temporary detention center of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek,» the sources told.
