The Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said he was firing the director of the regional Scientific Centre for Cardiovascular Surgery of Jalal-Abad Kaldarbek Abdramanov. He announced it during a visit to the Clinical Emergency Hospital in Bishkek.
According to the official, Kaldarbek Abdramanov is dismissed because of financial irregularities at the center.
«He has his own private cardiology centers. He made the public one private, too. He mixed up his own pocket and the state one,» Alymkadyr Beishenaliev explained.
When asked why he simply fired the director and did not initiate a check by law enforcement agencies, the minister said: «Law enforcement agencies, judges — they have been bought. For many years to come. The State Committee for National Security should have put Ismankulov, Dzhumabekov and others in jail long ago».
In November 2014, Kaldarbek Abdramanov was appointed a Chief Cardiac Surgeon of the Ministry of Health.
