Fire in the training building of Zaporizhzhya NPP was extinguished at 6.20 a.m. (10.20 a.m. Bishkek time — Note of 24.kg news agency). Message on the Facebook page of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine says.
It is noted that the fire area reached 2,000 square meters. There are no victims or injured.
The fire at Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant was reported tonight. The Ukrainian regulator confirmed to the IAEA that the radiation background around the nuclear power plant has not changed.
Today is the ninth day of fighting in Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, the Russian President Vladimir Putin announced start of a special military operation. It was regarded in Ukraine and in the West as a full-scale invasion.
Second round of Russian-Ukrainian talks took place on March 3, 2022. The parties agreed on providing humanitarian aid to the population.
