Tajikistan put 150 residents of Batken on the wanted list, accusing them of participating in border conflicts. Deputy Nurlan Razhabaliev announced at a meeting of Parliament.
According to him, Tajik law enforcement agencies opened criminal cases against several local officials in Batken.
«As you know, on February 23, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan Zamirbek Dosmatov was detained in Moscow. There are 19 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic on the list of wanted by Tajikistan. They are in Russia now, they do not leave their apartments, do not know how to turn for legal assistance. The list of Tajikistan is even wider, cases have been initiated against 150 residents of Batken, including the heads of rural administrations and villages in the region. It is necessary to instruct the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to work with the Republic of Tajikistan in this direction,» Nurlan Razhabaliev said.
The deputy suggested opening a law office at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia.
«We have to help Zamirbek Dosmatov and release him. In addition, to provide legal assistance to the rest of the Kyrgyz people, who are on the wanted list of the Republic of Tajikistan,» he said.
Zamirbek Dosmatov was detained in Moscow on February 23 at the request of Tajikistan for participating in conflicts at the border in 2019, although he has been in Moscow since 2017.
