The Health Ministry of Kyrgyzstan has completed repair work at seven sanitary-quarantine points: Torugart, Irkeshtam, Issyk-Kul Airport, Dostuk, Kyzyl-Kiya, Kyzyl-Bel and Kairagach. Press center of the ministry reported.
According to it, the repairs were carried out within the framework of the COVID-19 Emergency Response Project financed by the World Bank.
«Additional mobile units consisting of service premises for workers and isolators for temporary hospitalization of patients with suspected COVID-19 and other infectious diseases have been put into operation. The premises have toilets, showers, water heaters and are connected to water supply and sewerage systems,» the department said.
In addition, the sanitary-quarantine points Kairagach, Dostuk and Irkeshtam were additionally equipped with sheds and a pedestrian decontamination barrier for non-contact temperature measurement. The existing premises of Kairagach, Kyzyl-Bel, Dostuk and Irkeshtam points were also overhauled with replacement of WC facilities, flooring and wall insulation.
