Kyrgyzstan appealed to Russia with a request to change the conditions for medical examination of migrants. Aziz Madmarov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated at a meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.

According to him, Kyrgyzstan offered Russia to open a branch of a multifunctional migration center in Bishkek.

«There are problems with the organization of medical examination of migrants. Only two out of 17 centers work, and there are long queues. Therefore, there is a concern that not all citizens of Kyrgyzstan staying in Russia will have time to undergo a medical examination. In this regard, we asked to release our citizens from liability, if they do not make it on time. In addition, the law states that children from the age of six are to be examined, we asked to raise the age,» the deputy minister said.

Earlier, 24.kg news agency reported about huge queues of migrants who had to wait for the relevant certificates from early morning until late evening.
