A citizen of Kazakhstan was extradited from Kyrgyzstan to be held criminally liable for organizing a pyramid scheme. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The supervisory body considered and granted the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan for extradition of the citizen of Kazakhstan detained in Kyrgyzstan for bringing him to criminal responsibility for creating an organized group and complicity in organizing a pyramid (investment) scheme. As a result of the actions of the man, the citizens of Kazakhstan suffered material damage of more than 4 billion tenge.
The person was handed over to the competent authorities of Kazakhstan.
