Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov visited the Operational Control Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The center is working around the clock. Daily monitoring and crime prevention work is carried out with the help of 400 video surveillance cameras.
«We can talk a lot about digitalization, but this center is proof that work is being done in this direction. This is a serious tool, because it is important that citizens feel safe. The number of cameras needs to be increased, of course, the software needs to be improved. It is necessary to combine efforts with the Tax and Border Services on prevention of smuggling,» Akylbek Japarov said.
