President Sadyr Japarov drives first bus assembled in Kyrgyzstan

As part of his working trip to Chui region, the President of Kyrgyzstan got acquainted with the activities of Beles.kg LLC, which assembles buses in the country. Press service of the head of state reported.

To date, the enterprise has completed production of a test model of a city passenger bus equipped with Euro 5 standard diesel engine with a high class of exhaust gas purification. The bus is being prepared for shipment outside Kyrgyzstan to undergo laboratory and field tests, after which it is planned to produce them on an industrial scale.

Sadyr Japarov personally tested the first domestic bus. He noted the importance of creating reliable buses that meet all modern requirements for quality, safety and comfort for passengers. The head of state stressed that the implementation of such projects would solve a number of social and environmental problems in the country.

President Sadyr Japarov noted that in order to support domestic manufacturers, the state will purchase an initial batch of 10 buses produced at the enterprise. In case of successful operation of these vehicles, the issue of close cooperation with the plant on a regular basis will be considered.
