Salary of employees of the Bishkek Trolleybus Department will be increased by 40 percent. Press service of the capital’s City Hall reported.
After the increase, an average salary of a trolleybus driver will reach 25,000 soms.
«The salary will be increased on the instructions of the mayor of the city Aibek Dzhunushaliev. The decision was made after detailed monitoring of the volumes and work schedule of drivers and technical personnel in order to increase labor productivity,» the City Hall noted.
The salary increase issue was raised during a meeting of the mayor with employees of the Bishkek Trolleybus Department at the end of last year. «It was reported then that the lack of public transport drivers issue was acute, the main reason for which was low wages,» the City Hall stressed.
