Special bread collection bins installed in Bishkek

Special bins for collecting bread waste were installed in Bishkek. Press service of the capital’s City Hall reported.

The project is initiated by young activists. «They decided to contribute to instilling a culture of waste sorting in the residents of the capital. This approach will also help reduce the number of stray animals near the garbage cans,» the City Hall noted.

During the year, activists plan to install 1,500 such bins.

«The City Hall of the capital thanks the activists for their initiative and indifference to cleanliness in the city, and asks the residents of the capital to use the bins for their intended purpose — to put bread waste in them,» the City Hall added.
