Meeting of the intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of certain sections of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border continues. A Special Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers on Border Issues Nazirbek Borubaev told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the next meeting of members of the commission of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will end tomorrow.
The intergovernmental commission resumed its work on February 10 after a two-month break. The meeting is held in Batken region.
Earlier, it was reported that the commission would begin its work to discuss Maity site in Leilek district.
Resumption of the work of the intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of borders was announced after negotiations between the head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan Kamchybek Tashiev and the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan Saimumin Yatimov.
