The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek sentenced the former first deputy prime minister of Kyrgyzstan Taiyrbek Sarpashev to a fine within a criminal case on Kumtor. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
The former official was found guilty of corruption. He was fined 260,000 soms.
Taiyrbek Sarpashev is a defendant in the Kumtor case. He signed a written undertaking not to leave the city. It is known that the former member of the Cabinet of Ministers entered into a plea bargain.
