Citizen of Pakistan suspected of car fraud in Bishkek

A suspect in fraud was detained in Bishkek. The Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky district of the capital of Kyrgyzstan reported.

A citizen turned to the police and told that in the summer of 2020 a citizen of Pakistan promised to sell two Honda Jazz cars to him for $4,000. However, the suspect took the money and fled. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 «Fraud» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Law enforcement officers detained the 55-year-old citizen of Pakistan and put him in a temporary detention center. The police received other similar statements from residents of Bishkek — the suspect took money for cars and disappeared.
