Chinese scientists have managed to create antibodies that could be effective against future strains of the coronavirus. Foreign media report.
According to them, the Fudan University researchers synthesized the antibodies from components of two different antibodies produced by human immune cells.
The discovery can be called a surprise because scientists were working to find ways to treat another infectious disease.
Tests were carried out later, as a result of which it turned out that the antibodies created were able to effectively fight the Omicron strain. According to the researchers, these antibodies will also be effective against new coronavirus mutations that will emerge in the future.
According to official data, 198,962 cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in Kyrgyzstan since March 2020.
