Maksim Gordeev leaves for Beijing to participate in Winter Olympics

Maxim Gordeev, a skier from Kyrgyzstan, left for Beijing. The Ski Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The athlete left for the capital of China to participate in the Winter Olympics. He will compete on February 16.

Apart from Maksim Gordeev and his coach Igor Borisov, the sports delegation of Kyrgyzstan at the Olympics includes Cholpon Zhumagazieva, chief of mission of the National Olympic Committee (NOC), the NOC President Sadyr Mamytov and the NOC Secretary General Kylychbek Sarbagishev. The head of state Sadyr Japarov will also attend the Olympic Games.
