Coach of Kyrgyz national women's futsal team comments on upcoming match

Press conference with the head coaches of the national women’s futsal teams of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Iran was held on the eve of the start of the international tournament CAFA Women’s Futsal Championship.

Head coach of the Kyrgyz national women’s team Oleg Gevlenko answered journalists’ questions and told about expectations from the tournament and the preparation of the team.

«Our team purposefully prepared for the tournament. We had two training camps in Bishkek. There were more than 30 candidates and we selected 13 most worthy.

We do not know the opponents, so we will play «blind», but the team is ready, we will try to show quality futsal.

The only thing one should note is that all players of the teams, except for Iran, are from big soccer. But our girls are good, they worked hard and prepared well.

I would also like to thank the organizers of the tournament CAFA Women’s Championship for their warm welcome,» he said.

The tournament starts today, January 21, in Tajikistan. The Kyrgyz team will play its first match with the team of Tajikistan.
