Schoolchildren and students in Uzbekistan will learn online starting from January 24. Podrobno.uz news agency reports.
The decision to transfer university students, schoolchildren, as well as students of colleges, lyceums and technical schools to online education for a month was made by a special republican commission to combat coronavirus.
It is noted that this applies to all higher education institutions — state, non-state, private and branches of foreign educational institutions.
Study in secondary and higher educational institutions was supposed to begin after a two-week winter break from January 11, but it was extended until January 24.
