Cholponbek Sydykov’s condition is critical but stable. Press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, the patient was admitted to the Bishkek Scientific Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics at 2.55 p.m. on Thursday.
«Specialists (neurosurgeon, traumatologist, surgeon) held a consultation. A preliminary diagnosis was made: a combined injury, a closed craniocerebral injury, concussion of the brain, a blunt chest injury, multiple rib fractures, open fractures of bones of both legs with displacement,» the ministry noted.
Cholponbek Sydykov was hospitalized in the intensive care unit. «Additional examinations will be carried out; treatment of the victim begun. Surgical treatment is planned. All medical assistance to the patient will be provided within the framework of the State Guarantees Program,» the ministry added.
Earlier it was reported that the missing citizen of Kyrgyzstan Cholponbek Sydykov was found in Almaty. He said that he was detained on January 9 when leaving the city, then he was beaten at the police department. The compatriot has been transported to Bishkek by ambulance. His ribs and legs are broken. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has launched an investigation. The Ombudsman’s Institute asks for a medical examination of Cholponbek Sydykov under the Istanbul Protocol.
