Highest price increase in EAEU registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2021

At the year-end 2021, the maximum level of inflation in the consumer sector of the economies of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), compared to December 2020, was registered in Kyrgyzstan.

In January-December 2021, it reached 11.2 percent. This was due to the fact that prices and tariffs for food products (including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) increased by 13.3 percent.

At the same time, the maximum increase in prices for non-food products — by 9.9 percent and services — by 7.6 percent was registered in Belarus.
