The rules for obtaining a license have changed slightly for private universities in Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Education and Science made adjustments.
According to the introduced changes, professional training of personnel (bachelor, specialist, master) is carried out in accordance with the national system of qualifications, and it is required to revise certain licensing requirements for implementation of educational programs.
For example, for the safety of students, conclusions of the fire service, the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance are additionally included in the list of necessary documents for obtaining a license in the new draft law.
In addition, the procedure for consideration of application when submitting the required documents is regulated. The sources of funding for licensing expertise, licensing supervision, production of license forms and the procedure for conducting licensing supervision, which are taken into account in this draft resolution, are determined.
The costs associated with the licensing examination shall be paid at the expense of the republican budget.
The current license requirements have been revised. It is also clarified that the term for conducting the licensing examination should not exceed five working days.
