At least 13 municipal schools have switched to online learning in Bishkek. Press service of the City Hall of the capital reported.
The Department of Education daily monitors student attendance; the educational process in schools is carried out strictly according to the approved algorithm of actions to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
Schools No. 26, 88, 62, 60, 73, 12, 4, 38, 67, 11, 29, 18, 6 and kindergarten No. 135 have switched to online classes by the order of the capital’s Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance. A group will be closed in the kindergarten No. 144.
Vice Mayor of Bishkek Victoria Mozgacheva told 24.kg news agency that three private schools have also been transferred online: Gazprom, the Chingiz Aitmatov lyceum and the Bishkek International School.
The City Hall asks parents not to send their children to school or kindergarten if they are sick.
