Based on the implementation of projects and measures to create conditions for the restoration of economic development of the country, the economic growth in the republic is projected at 6.5 percent in 2022. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The government has determined an action plan for implementation of the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan until 2026. It includes 853 measures in priority directions.
It includes reform of fiscal system, development of energy, mining, light industry, transport, «green» economy and digitalization. In particular, the Cabinet plans to complete the full automation (fiscalization) of tax procedures. Including due to this, the country’s budget will reach 400 billion soms.
Priority measures are planned for construction of new generating capacities, reconstruction and modernization of existing hydropower plants and launch of projects on renewable energy sources. The implementation of major projects in the field of mining and launch of Heritage of Great Nomads holding company are expected. The light industry will be assisted in the implementation of major projects.
«In the coming five-year period, work will be carried out to launch the construction of China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railroad strategic project. In addition, activities are planned to implement the project for the construction of Balykchy — Kochkor — Kara-Keche railway, completion of construction of the alternative North — South road project, as well as Issyk-Kul ring road,» the statement says.
