At least 742 new cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the Kyrgyz Republic, including 57 in medical workers. The Ministry of Health and Social Development reports.
According to it, 632 people got infected in Bishkek, 8 — in Osh city, 42 — in Chui region, 5 — in Osh region, 8 — in Talas region, 2 — in Naryn region, 22— in Issyk-Kul region, 15 — in Jalal-Abad region, 8 — in Batken region.
The spread rate (reproduction number Rt) is 3.9, that is so many people can infect one patient. A number above one indicates that there is an increase in the incidence.
In total, 187,620 cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the country since March 2020.
