Kazakhstan imposed a ban on the export of potatoes, carrots and cattle. Zakon.kz reports.
It is noted that the decision was made by joint order of the Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Finance dated January 10, 2022. In particular, the ban on the export of potatoes and carrots was imposed for three months. It was also reported about the introduction of a ban on the export of cattle, sheep and goats for six months.
The order will take effect on January 22.
«The ban on the export of live cattle and vegetables was adopted to stabilize prices and to avoid shortages in the domestic market,» the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan says in a statement.
