Sharp increase in incidence: 1,671 COVID-19 patients registered in Kyrgyzstan

At least 1,671 people are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan. The number of patients continues to grow. The Ministry of Health and Social Development reported.

Some 1,196 patients of them are treated at home, in hospitals —475, including 31 people are in an extremely serious condition, 141— in a serious condition. The condition of the main part of the patients — 291 people (59 percent) is assessed as moderate. 12 patients in satisfactory condition are registered.

At least 85 people have recovered from COVID-19 and community-acquired pneumonia for 24 hours in Kyrgyzstan. Some 50 people have recovered in Bishkek, in Osh city — 8, in Chui region — 12, in Talas region — 2, in Issyk-Kul region — 2, in Jalal-Abad region — 10, in Batken region — 1.

In total, 180,432 people have recovered in the republic since March 2020.
