No fee will be charged for the registration of mobile and smart devices owned by the population, imported before the adoption of the law on the mandatory identification of IMEI codes. The Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The ministry reminds that it was the initiator of a bill on the issues of identification of mobile communications devices, as well as devices used for transfer of data. The document is undergoing public discussion.
«The project implies the identification (i.e. registration) of mobile devices and devices that transmit data. Registration of devices in use will also be required. It will be free of charge. The format of registration will be worked out with the priority on the convenience of this process for citizens,» the Ministry of Digital Development said.
