Since the beginning of the year, police officers have confiscated 3,605 kilograms of drugs in Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
- 20,036 grams of opium;
- 6,131 grams of heroin;
- 217,135 grams of hashish;
- 290,556 grams of marijuana;
- 326,982 grams of cannabis plants;
- 2,496,460 grams of precursors;
- 11,055 grams of psychotropic substances;
- 21 grams of pharmaceuticals;
- 66 grams of opium poppy;
- 236,506 grams of other drugs.
At least 1,206 crimes and misdemeanors related to drugs were registered for 11 months of 2021.
Some 13 foreigners were detained for drug trafficking: four citizens of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, three citizens of Russia, three citizens of Pakistan and three citizens of the United States. More than 670 kilograms of drugs of all kinds were seized from them.
