More than 50 people participate in the rally. They oppose the installation of cash register machines.
«Most people take goods for sale, they cost more. Let’s say we add 200-500 soms to the price. You will charge tax on the total amount, not on what we have earned. Our annual turnover is more than 8 million soms, but sometimes we have to sell the goods at their cost, in fact, we can get only 2,000 soms from the sale of one sofa. Installation of cash register machines is not needed. We have to enter a password, PIN codes and so on, should the customers wait?» the protesters ask.
The new Tax Code should come into force on January 1, 2022. Earlier it was proposed to exempt sellers from taxes if they have cash register machines.
