Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 270.7 million people globally

The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 563,935 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.

In total, 270,726,491 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (50,119,422), India (34,697,860), Brazil (22,177,059), France (8,363,479), Russia (9,871,229), Turkey (9,060,945), Great Britain (10,935,244), Italy (5,238,221), Spain (5,339,992), Germany (6,559,860), Argentina (5,358,455), Iran (6,157,519) and Columbia (5,095,821).

At least 5,311,574 people died from the virus, including 798,710 people — in the USA, 616,457— in Brazil, 296,672— in Mexico, 475,636— in India, 146,935— in the UK, 134,929— in Italy and 284,909 — in Russia.

At least 184,027 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,063,809 cases — in Kazakhstan, 195,958— in Uzbekistan, 17,493 — in Tajikistan.
