Sadyr Mamytov became the head of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan (NOC). The elections took place in Bishkek on Friday. The NOC reported.

In addition to him, Bolot Motukeev, head of Kelechek Academy, also run for the post. However, the largest number of members of the NOC voted for the candidacy of Sadyr Mamytov. He previously was a President of the Equestrian Federation.

The Acting President of the National Olympic Committee Kanat Amankulov withdrew his candidacy from the elections. Prior to that, it was reported that the NOC Secretary General Salamat Ergeshov had resigned.
