Investigation conducted by MediaHub journalists tells how medical workers sell vaccination certificates in Kyrgyzstan.

Citizens commented the previous information about the sale of fake PCR testing certificates, saying that Kyrgyzstanis who do not want to get vaccinated against coronavirus buy vaccination certificates from medical workers at local polyclinics, since vaccination is mandatory in some companies and state institutions.

«They wrote to us: teachers are told that they will be fired, if they do not get vaccinated. Therefore, they bought fake vaccination certificates from 500 soms to $100 without vaccination. Medical workers simply threw unused vaccines into the trash. To verify the information, we conducted an investigation,» a journalist Meerim Syrdybaeva said.

The facts were confirmed during the investigation. Medical workers sold vaccination certificates to journalists for 1,000 soms in polyclinic No. 2, located in Dzhal microdistrict, and the Family Medicine Center No. 1 in Kyzyl-Asker. Unused vaccines were thrown away.

In addition, the investigators identified some physician, Gulzat Abdramanova, and her unemployed assistant Asyl Moldokerimova, who were selling vaccination certificates through Telegram messenger. In the same messenger, another user offered to make a vaccination certificate for $ 150.

«It was found out that the medical workers, taking the psychological state of people and their attitude towards vaccination into account, decided to easily earn money through intermediaries,» the authors of the investigation noted.
