Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 266.4 million people globally

The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 575,141 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.

In total, 266,400,996 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (49,278,242), India (34,641,561), Brazil (22,147,476), France (8,021,594), Russia (9,661,865), Turkey (8,923,120), Great Britain (10,574,291), Italy (5,118,576), Spain (5,202,958), Germany (6,219,259), Argentina (5,343,153), Iran (6,137,821) and Columbia (5,082,762).

At least 5,261,867 people died from the virus, including 789,742 people — in the USA, 615,744— in Brazil, 295,203— in Mexico, 473,537— in India, 146,097— in the UK, 134,287— in Italy and 276,979 — in Russia.

At least 183,712 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,059,303 cases — in Kazakhstan, 194,556— in Uzbekistan, 17,493 — in Tajikistan.
