In November, the price of diesel fuel in Kyrgyzstan rose by 4.8 soms, or 9.3 percent. The National Statistical Committee provided such data.
If at the beginning of November diesel fuel cost 52.02 soms on average throughout the country, then by December 1, the price reached 56.86 soms.
Petrol price went up within the last 30 days, too. Thus, price of AI 95 has grown by 2.46 soms — from 61.62 to 64.38 soms, while price of AI 92 — by 1.87 soms (from 57.09 to 58.96 soms).
It should be noted that prices are rising because of the high wholesale cost of fuel at oil refineries. Many small gas stations in the country simply closed. The government is planning to introduce state regulation of prices for fuels and lubricants to be able to set the maximum price independently.
