Officers of the State Agency on Drug Control suppressed a drug trafficking channel from Afghanistan to Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
«Police investigators stopped a Toyota Ist car on Bishkek — Osh road on November 23 with a 29-year-old driver and a 28-year-old passenger inside. Two sports bags with nine briquettes of hashish were found in the trunk of the car during search. The weight of the seized drug amounted to about 10 kilograms,» the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
Passenger of the car was placed in the temporary detention center of the Department of Internal Affairs of Toktogul district of Jalal-Abad region. The investigation is ongoing.
