According to preliminary estimates, 9,826 people voted at polling stations abroad that is 11.67 percent of voters. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.

At least 59 polling stations were opened in 29 cities outside Kyrgyzstan. About 84,128 people were included in the voters’ list.

«The electoral process at the polling stations formed outside the country was organized at the appropriate level. There were some cases associated with technical failure of equipment (equipment for identification of citizens, automated systems). They were promptly eliminated. In addition, isolated cases were recorded at the polling station 9044 in Dubai and polling station 9020 in Tomsk when citizens were unable to vote due to the lack of biometric data in the database or consular registration. Responsible officials conducted conversations with citizens and explained them the conditions for exercising their electoral rights,» the statement says.

Elections of deputies of the seventh convocation of the Parliament have ended in Kyrgyzstan. The electoral system was changed in the country, so there will be 90 deputies instead of 120. As a result, 54 deputies of the Parliament are elected according to the proportional system (open lists of candidates of political parties) in the single electoral district, 36 deputies — according to the majority system in single-mandate constituencies.

According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission, six parties get into the Parliament. Winners in single-seat constituencies were also announced.
