A new village for youth will be built in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan near the border. The President Sadyr Japarov said in an interview with the Regional Media Center of Batken.
The head of state noted that Batken region had not received due attention for 30 years. Its residents, having sold their houses, left due to the deterioration of the socio-economic situation in the region.
«Therefore, from the very first days of work, I instructed to grant a special status to Batken region. Entrepreneurs and all citizens in the region are exempt from several types of taxes now. After the abolition of taxes, domestic and foreign investors will start opening production, construct buildings. A new modern airport will be built. In short, all conditions will be created for the rapid development of Batken region. God willing, a number of enterprises will be built next year,» the president said.
According to him, a new village with a full-fledged infrastructure for young people will appear near the border. «Our citizens who have moved from Batken region will start returning. Such work is being carried out in the region,» he added.
