School student attempts to commit suicide in Jalal-Abad region

A school student attempted to commit suicide in Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Emergencies Ministry reported.

The incident happened in Dzhalgyz-Dzhangak village. The Ministry of Emergency Situations received information at 17.18 that a 17-year-old guy was going to jump from a high-voltage electric tower.

Five rescuers arrived at the scene. During half-hour negotiations, the teenager was persuaded to come down and he was taken to his parents. Reasons for the suicide attempt are unknown.
