Seven people killed, nine injured in traffic accident in Kara-Suu district

Seven people were killed in a traffic accident in Kara-Suu district of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Emergencies Ministry reported.

The road accident involving three vehicles — Kamaz, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Daewoo Nexia reportedly occurred on the 661^st kilometer of Bishkek — Osh road.

According to preliminary data, seven people were killed: three men and four women. Six more were taken to the intensive care unit of the Osh Regional Hospital, three children were hospitalized in the children’s hospital.

The Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations Akylbek Mazaripov, head of the Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Osh region Nurdin Shamatov and three rescuers of District Department for Emergency Situations for Kara-Suu are at the scene.
