Half of the reports of corruption received via the Internet are unconfirmed. Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Kurmankul Zulushev announced at the first meeting of the Anti-Corruption Business Council.

According to him, the supervisory body monitors information on corruption.

«But half of the messages on the Internet and social media are unconfirmed,» Kurmankul Zulushev noted.

According to him, the fiscal authorities continue to put pressure on business.

«Despite the fact that the private entrepreneur made all the relevant customs payments, the employees of the Customs Service unreasonably demand something again. Legal proceedings are underway now. To prevent all these violations of the law, all bodies must change their policy towards businessmen. They should not punish them, but, on the contrary, protect them,» the Prosecutor General stressed.

He urged investors and entrepreneurs to promptly report violations of their rights. «You shouldn’t come to me, write to the Prosecutor General’s Office, there is a mobile application and a helpline. As soon as we receive the message, we will come and defend your rights on the same day,» Kurmankul Zulushev promised.
