Competition among school chefs held in Kyrgyzstan

The best school chef was chosen in Kyrgyzstan. The UN World Food Program reports.

Chefs from 57 schools of the republic took part in the competition. Only five people reached the final after several rounds of demonstration of culinary skills. The competition was held with the support of the UN World Food Program, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Russian Social and Industrial Foodservice Institute (SIFI).

The chef from a secondary school in Talas region Nazgul Alybaeva took the first place. Maksatbek Kozhokeev from secondary school No. 10 in Issyk-Kul region took the second place, and the chef from the secondary school named after Sultanaly uulu Kushubak in Talas region Gulsada Batyrbekova took the third place.
