Coal rises in price by 10 more percent since beginning of November

Coal prices have increased by more than 10 percent compared to October in Kyrgyzstan. The National Statistical Committee provided such data.

On average, coal costs 5,720.5 soms per ton in the republic. The highest cost of coal was registered in Nookat (9,874.2 soms per ton), Batken (9,718.8 soms) and Isfana (8,746.4 soms). The minimum retail prices of coal were registered in Chaek village (3,000 soms per ton), Balykchy (4,000), Naryn and Kara-Balta (4,500).

The highest increase in the cost of coal compared to October was observed in Kerben — by 1,423.9 soms (23.7 percent), Jalal-Abad — by 880.9 soms (15 percent), Talas — by 695.4 soms (12.2 percent) and Bishkek — by 654.6 soms (14.4 percent).
