Drinking water supply system has been built and put into operation in San-Tash village, Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the State Agency of Agriculture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services reported.
Construction of the system began in 2020 at the expense of the republican budget. The tender cost of the object was 9.2 million soms.
«The allocated funds were used to build a monolithic reservoir with a volume of 50 cubic meters, a main groundwater intake structure with a fence, a chlorination room, 0.926 kilometers long water conduit, an internal network of 3.2 kilometers made of polyethylene pipes with fire hydrants, and etc.,» the state agency reported.
It added that the water is supplied to every house. Its further maintenance was transferred to the established municipal enterprise and rural administration.
