An employee of the Service for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Internal Affairs Department of Pervomaisky district of Bishkek was detained on the fact of extortion of a bribe. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
It was established that the policeman threatened to bring a resident of Alamedin district to criminal responsibility for fraud and allegedly extorted $500.
«The detainee was placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security for carrying out further investigative and operational measures,» the State Committee for National Security said.
