Vice mayor Azamat Sagyndyk uulu was detained in Bishkek. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
The official was reportedly detained within a criminal case on extortion of a bribe by an employee of the Bishkek City Hall.
She was placed under house arrest until September 23. The decision was made by the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek.
