The Constitutional Court of Kyrgyzstan cannot accept the complaints of citizens for consideration due to the lack of relevant normative acts. The Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the republic, Karybek Duisheev, announced at the first meeting of the Council on Improving Judicial and Law Enforcement Activities under the President.
He noted that until the law on the Constitutional Court is adopted, it cannot carry out full-fledged work.
«We receive complaints and appeals from citizens, but we cannot accept them for consideration, since the procedural norms have not been determined. We are forced to suspend their reception until adoption of constitutional laws. In addition, at the moment, 24 of our decisions have not been executed,» Karybek Duisheev said, expressing hope that the Parliament will adopt relevant laws in the near future.
