Ex-mayor of Bishkek Aziz Surakmatov was detained. Own sources told 24.kg news agency.
The former mayor was placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security within a case on illegal enrichment.
Aziz Surakmatov has been interrogated at the headquarters of the State Committee for National Security in Bishkek city.
